Since its opening in September '93, the Bayou Bar and Grill
has become a staple of Manayunk's unique neighborhood atmosphere.
Located on Main Street, the Bayou is popular year-round, whether
to watch football in the fall or relax on the covered, outdoor
deck in the summer.
Our nightly drink specials draw a huge
after-work crowd, who also stay for our tavern-style menu, full
of appetizers, sandwiches, and house specialties. It's Southern
inspired food with plenty of Cajun favorites like jambalaya,
gumbo and Creole chili. In 1998, the Bayou won "Best of
Philly" for our spicy buffalo wings. Our hard-shell crabs
and half-pound burgers are also customer favorites.
After
a decade on Manayunk's busiest street, it's our customers,
old and new, who continue to make the Bayou such a success.
