| Wall
Ball 2007 at The Loews Philadelphia Hotel was
a night to raise funds for the extraordinary work and
services the Mural Arts Program (MAP)
provides to Philadelphia and its citizens. This year’s
honorees included Philadelphia mayors, Rev.
Dr. W. Wilson Goode, Governor Edward G. Rendell and
Mayor John F. Street as well as Bank of America PA President,
Daniel K. Fitzpatrick. Guests of Wall
Ball 2007 will enjoyed dinner, live music and
a unique painting experience. The Mural Arts
Program (MAP) is the nation’s largest
mural program. Since 1984, MAP has created over
2,700 murals and works of public art, which
are now part of Philadelphia’s civic landscape
and a source of inspiration to the thousands of residents
and visitors who encounter them, earning Philadelphia
international recognition as the “City
of Murals.” |
