Museum Restaurant at the Philadelphia Museum
of Art completed the 2006-2007 Wine
Event Seminar Series with a tasting with
Marnie Old. The season finale offered participants
an opportunity to taste the impact of modern
science and technology on traditional winemaking in
France, Italy and Spain. Marnie Old,
Philadelphia's top wine educator, guided participants
through the changing taste of Old World
wines as both traditional and modern styles faced off
in the competitive international wine market. The Museum
Restaurant's Executive Chef J.C. Nuñez
prepared a selection of small plates to accompany the
